FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – Fire crews responded to multiple grass fires along some railroad tracks near Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac Saturday.
According to Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue, they were called for a small grass fire at the tracks near I-41 and Hickory Street around 2 p.m.
Officials say the small grass fire spread near businesses before firefighters were able to put it out. Several semi-trailers and lumber were burned in a parking lot near the railroad tracks.
No one was hurt.
