HARRISON, WI (WTAQ) — Fire has heavily damaged a commercial building in the Village of Harrison.
The Harrison Fire Department says it was called to the building on Amy Avenue around 10 a.m.
The building was already engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
While they were fighting the fire, the roof and some walls collapsed.
There was no indication that anyone was inside.
It’s unclear what the building housed or if it was completely built.
A hazardous-materials team was called in as a precaution, but firefighters have not confirmed the presence of any dangerous chemicals, officials say.
