TOWN OF LOWELL, WI (WTAQ) – About 35 firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition and suspected drugs were seized from a residence in Dodge County.
At 6:00 a.m. Wednesday the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed a search warrant at a residence on County J in the Town of Lowell.
The search warrant was part of an investigation into the purchasing and possession of firearms by individuals who are prohibited from owning them.
Two men, ages 56 and 34, were taken into custody.
As a precaution, the Milwaukee County Bomb Squad was requested to assist investigators during the search.
The incident remains under investigation.
