ANTIGO, WI (WTAQ) – Antigo police say the male victim of last weekend’s prom shooting has been released from the hospital.
On Friday, 18-year-old Collin Cooper was discharged and officials say he will be recuperating under the care of his family.
Police say Cooper and another female student were shot by 18-year-old Jakob Wagner while leaving the school’s prom just after 11 p.m. on April 23.
Wagner was shot by officers on scene and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The female victim was released from the hospital the next day.
