The Indy Car series returned to Road America Sunday for the Sonsio Grand Prix.   Josef Newgarden took the checkered flag ahead of Indianapolis 500 winner Marcus Erickson who reclaimed the Indy Series points lead with his runner-up finish.    By securing wins on the Elkhart Lake road course, along with victories on a street course and an oval this year, Newgarden also pocketed a one million dollar bonus.    He’ll split it with half going to his Penske racing team and the other half-million going to charities on his choice.
