GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ)- State Representative Andre Jacque’s road to the State Senate continues after defeating Alex Renard by just 330 votes in Tuesday’s primary.
Jacque received 52 percent of the vote in a highly contested race.
“I’m humbled to be able to continue forward and have the support of his constituents and you know it’s not about me, it’s about the people of the district. You know we had a lot thrown at us, we had just an enormous amount of expenditures and independent groups it feels good,” Jacque said.
Jacque will face Democrat Caleb Frostman in the June 12th general election.
Frostman ran unopposed Tuesday.
