GREEN LAKE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Department has recovered a male body from Big Green Lake.
Several calls were made about a possible drowning victim at the lake Saturday afternoon.
Sheriff’s deputies say the boat patrol found the male’s body at approximately 7:15 p.m. in 109 feet of water.
The body was then recovered at about a half an hour later.
The Green Lake County Coroner’s Office pronounced the male dead at the scene.
The identity of the male has not been released.
