FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ)- Fond Du Lac Police took an 18-year-old man into custody Saturday, for an incident that took place May 29.
Police say the Fond Du Lac man was arrested for allegedly threatening someone and showing a gun during a pick-up basketball game.
Police were called that night to the parking lot for a third hand report of a verbal altercation that allegedly involved a hand gun.
Police say they were told that disagreement was over the basketball game that took place during open gym at the school.
Officers say they were not able to locate anyone involved when they arrived on scene, but continued to investigate.
“Through the course of the investigation for this incident, Officers were able to corroborate the allegations of a hand gun being displayed and some threats that were made towards a male victim,” police said.
Police are recommending charges that include 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, possession of a firearm in a school zone and carrying a concealed weapon against the 18-year-old.
