ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Packers offered a free youth football coaching school Sunday.
Ryan Fencl, the Packers football outreach specialist, tells FOX 11…
“We have some of the top high school and even some college coaches here to reach out and actually teach some ‘x’s’ and ‘o’s’ to the youth coaches throughout the state.”
Fencl says the school gives coaches the opportunity to sharpen skills and learn new approaches to teaching football.
“These are the guys (coaches) that the kids are going to be looking up to. These are the guys that are going to be teaching and molding these players and, hopefully, making them realize football is fun. This is a great sport, let’s continue to play year after year.”
The day started at the stadium and included a class at the Don Hutson Center in Ashwaubenon.
