GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Green Bay police had been urging people all morning to avoid the area of Packerland Drive at Indian Hills Drive on the city’s west side.
That’s apparently because a person wasn’t leaving a business nearby and was holding off the police.
It reportedly happened in the parking lot of the J&W Enterprises Truck Stop.
Police say the man had threatened property damage and implied he would shoot someone. He did not have any weapons.
Police Captain Ben Allen says they are working to get the man mental health assistance.
Roads in the area were closed and businesses nearby were evacuated.
