GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ)- A former Seymour teacher and girls basketball coach was sentenced to six months in jail after being convicted of attempting to meet up with a 15-year-old for sex.
35-year-old Nicholas Darnick was placed on probation for four years.
The judge says if he completes probation successfully, the felony count of child enticement would be dropped.
The conditions include not taking a teaching job or renewing his teaching license or taking any coaching positions.
Police say Darnick chatted with them online, thinking they were a teenage girl.
