APPLETON, WI (WTAQ)- What used to be Appleton Papers has now officially been sold.
The sale to Franklin Advisers Inc. was completed Wednesday and confirmed by Appvion.
After Appleton Papers field for bankruptcy, the sale took eight months to complete.
The $365 million dollar sale was approved by a federal bankruptcy court.
Appvion employs about 1,250 people in Appleton and at plants in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
