FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – Officials say the careless use of smoking materials caused a duplex fire on the 100 block of East Johnson Street Friday night.
It happened just before 10:00 p.m.
Crews said smoke and fire was coming from the outside of the duplex.
Crews were able to put out the fire before it reached the apartment below.
No injuries were reported.
