GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Seven people are looking for a new home after there’s caught fire Sunday afternoon.
Green Bay Metro Fire Department said the heavy smoke was coming from the east side of a building on the 1200 block of East Walnut Street just after 12:30.
Flames were coming from the first floor and the attic.
Firefighters thought someone was still inside and called in crews from other departments for help. That did not turn out to be the case.
Officials say the fire caused $125,000 worth of damage.
No one was hurt and the Red Cross is helping those in need.
There is still no word on what caused the fire.
