Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are losing Head Coach Mike Budenholzer’s top lieutenant as assistant Darvin Ham was named the new Head Coach of the Los Angeles Lakers over the weekend. After a 12 year playing career in the NBA, Ham got his first Head Coaching job with in the CBA before joining Mike Brown’s staff with the Lakers in 2011. After three years with the Lakers, Ham joined Budenholzer’s staff with the Atlanta Hawks in 2013 and followed Budenholzer to the Milwaukee Bucks where he helped the team to the NBA title last year. Ham succeeds Frank Vogel who was fired after three seasons, including a championship season in 2019-20 when the Lakers claimed the title in the “bubble” in Orlando during the pandemic.
