GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Green Bay park officials say they do have enough staff to open the city’s two largest pools this summer.
Both Joannes and the Resch Aquatic Center will welcome swimmers next month.
Joannes will be open for the first time in two years. It was closed because there was not enough people to staff the pool.
Colburn Pool on the city’s west side will open for swim lessons and swim teams and hopes to open for regular swim at a later date.
The parks department currently has 53 lifeguards staffed and 20 attendants, and there are still open spots. You can find open positions here.
