BEAVER DAM, WI (WTAQ) – A 62-year-old North Carolina man has been taken to the hospital after he crashed the semi-truck full of beer he was driving.
The single-vehicle accident happened early Monday afternoon on the Highway 151 ramp at Highway G in Beaver Dam.
Investigators believe the driver failed to stop at the stop sign at the top of the 151 ramp and left the road.
The man was taken to the hospital for an unspecified injury or medical condition.
DNR officials were called to the scene for a small load of diesel fuel that may have leaked.
None of the Coors beer the truck was carrying spilled.
The ramp was closed for several hours following the crash.
