BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) The 53-year-old Green Bay man accused of sexually assaulting horses in multiple Northeast Wisconsin counties has pleaded not guilty to his Brown County charges.
Sterling Rachwal faces misdemeanor counts of Intentionally Mistreating Animals, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer in connection with an alleged February 17 horse assault at a Town of Eaton farm.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for July 6.
Rachwal has also been charged with two misdemeanors in Manitowoc County court for reportedly violating a horse on April 29.
A settlement conference is set for June 21, with a plea date scheduled for July 19.
