DOOR COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Door County Sheriff’s officials say two people have been arrested following a traffic stop in which they found drugs.
Authorities say the vehicle was weaving all over the road when its was stopped Thursday near Sister Bay.
Deputies say they found 36 individually wrapped packages of fentanyl, along with syringes and needles that were stored in a lock box.
Fentanyl is an opioid drug that is considerably more potent than heroin.
The names of the 39-year-old female driver, who was arrested on suspicion of driving impaired, and 39-year-old male passenger have not been released.
