The Green Bay Phoenix men’s basketball team has received a commitment from 6-4 guard Jack Rose, the all-time leading scorer from Westosha Central High School. Rose averaged 20.8 points a game in his senior year. As a junior, Rose received offers from Maryland, Southern Illinois, Toledo and Green Bay’s instate rival UW Milwaukee. He led Westosha Central to the WIAA Division 2 state tournament while piling up over 1600 points in his career. Rose was anemd the Southern Lakes Conference Player of the Year. His commitment softens the blow from a handful of Phoenix players who entered the transfer portal since the season ended.
