FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – Two people are in custody following recent armed robberies at two Fond du Lac convenience stores.
Police say the first incident happened Saturday at the Marathon Gas station on Main Street while the second took place Monday morning at the Phillips 66 on North Peters Avenue.
In the Monday robbery, officers received a report of a white male entering the store, displaying a handgun, and demanding money from the lone clerk on duty.
The man fled on foot, last seen heading southeast across North Peters.
Nobody was injured in either incident.
A 26-year-old Oshkosh man and 23-year-old Fond du Lac woman were arrested late Monday morning and taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail.
Both are awaiting formal charges.
No further information has been released.
