ONEIDA, WI (WTAQ) – The Oneida Nation has a new Business Committee chairman.
Ron “Tehassi” Hill has been elected to a three-year term.
Hill replaces Tina Danforth, who did not seek re-election.
Also, Brandon Yellowbird Stevens was elected as the new vice chairman, while Treasurer Trish King, Secretary Debra Powless, and Council Members Jenny Webster and David Jordan were all re-elected.
Anyone who wishes to challenge the election results can do so during a ten-day window.
Otherwise, Hill is expected to accept the results on August 9 and be sworn in the following day.
