GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A three-year prison sentence was handed down Monday to a Neopit man for a series of crimes.
28-year-old Merwin J. Wynos was involved in a burglary at a Keshena convenience store, according to prosecutors. When an officer responded to the burglar alarm, Wynos nearly hit the officer. Wynos then led police on a high speed chase, ending when he crashed the car he was driving in Shawano County.
Wynos was also sentenced to 3 years of supervised release, while having to pay restitution to the convenience store.
