The Green Bay Packers now have 8 of their 11 draft choices under contract. The Packers announced Monday they’ve reached agreement with offensive tackle Rasheed Walker of Penn State, one of 4, 7th round draft choices. The only picks left without a deal are second round wide receiver Christian Watson, 4th round picks, receiver Romeo Doubs and offensive tackle Zach Tom.
Green Bay also signed free agent linebacker Kobe Jones who took part in the team’s rookie camp last weekend. The 6-3, 255 pound linebacker from Mississippi State was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent last year by Atlanta but was waived by the Falcons. He spent most of the year on the practice squad of the Miami Dolphins and was briefly on the roster of the Tennessee Titans this off-season.
