APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Next month’s Mile of Music Festival will have the largest number of artists who will perform in the event’s history.
More than 230 artists will perform live original music in downtown Appleton August 4-7 in downtown Appleton.
“We had 218 last year and that was the largest we’ve had to this point,” said Dave Willems, co-founder of Mile of Music. “So for Mile 4, the number jumped up a little bit.”
The final artist grouping includes:

They’ll perform at some of the 75 venues along College Avenue and the adjacent riverfront. The larger number of artists will also likely translate to more visitors.
“We anticipate that we’ll see another reasonable bump,” Willems says. “It could be very large, it could be a smaller bump, but we’re preparing ourselves.”
