GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A landmark downtown Green Bay restaurant has been sold.
According to a letter to customers from the Rank family, the last day they will operate Al’s Hamburger Shop on Washington Street will be this coming Sunday.
Part of the letter reads, “Al’s has been sold to a new family whom we are sure will love & cherish it as much as our family has for the past 82 years. While we know the sale was inevitable due to our parent’s recent deaths, it is with great sadness but optimism that we hand the reigns over to somebody new.”
