OCONTO, WI (WTAQ) – A plea deal has been reached for one of the teens accused of spiking their teacher’s drink.
On Tuesday, 18-year-old Hailey Brock of Gillett pleaded no contest to a count of placing a foreign object in an edible. Two other charges, recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct, are expected to be dismissed during sentencing on September 6.
The criminal complaint states that Brock confessed to putting a cleaning solution for a dry-erase board in the drink of Gillett High School staffer Ray Johnson last October 20. Brock admitted she spiked his soda with white board cleaning solution, calling it a prank, police say.
Officials also say Gavin Gilbertston helped out. He’s scheduled for trial on September 27.
