MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) – Milwaukee police say a Green Bay man was shot while trying to buy drugs in the city on Monday night.
FOX 6 in Milwaukee reports that the 30-year-old man was approached by a male suspect on near Teutonia and Locust. The suspect robbed the man, then shot him.
The victim drove himself to a nearby fire station for help and crashed into the garage door. He was then taken to a hospital for treatment.
“The initial report that this was related to a shooting, so there’s a whole measure of trauma care that goes into dealing with those wounds because a lot of internal damage can occur, so they sort all that out, stabilize the patient and get that patient going,” said Milwaukee deputy chief, Aaron Lipski.
Milwaukee Police are still investigating.
