GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A former Green Bay teacher has pled no contest to charges he sexually assaulted a student.
Online court records indicate Jer Lovaj will be sentenced on counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child and fourth-degree sexual assault on February 23.
A judge Friday dismissed a count of first-degree sexual assault against Lovaj.
Police say Lovaj inappropriately touched and kissed an 8-year-old female student on several occasions. Lovaj was working at Sullivan Elementary School at the time.
The Green Bay Area Public School District fired him shortly after his arrest.
