OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – A promotional products retailer in Oshkosh says they are expanding and will hire new employees because of it.
4imprint says they plan on building a 100,000-square foot addition at its west side distribution center, and lease another 25,000-square feet next to its headquarters in downtown Oshkosh.
The $8 to $9 million expansion will help 4imprint keep up with increased demand as well as provide space for its free promotional products sample programs, embroidered apparel products and distribution workers. Company officials add the headquarters expansion will create room for more employees.
The company expects to add 150 new jobs over the next 3 years. Those positions are in customer service, marketing and merchandising, art, embroidery, information technology, accounting and other support.
“As a team, we are humbled by the strong customer demand we are experiencing and the loyalty our customers demonstrate,” CEO Kevin Lyons-Tarr said in a statement. “Our ongoing growth and these expansions, in particular, are a credit to our hard-working associates and their commitment to doing right by others every day.”
The downtown expansion is expected to begin soon, with employees moving in April. Meanwhile, construction on the distribution center expansion is set to begin in spring and finish up in the summer.
