GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Packers’ coach Mike McCarthy carries his family with him, every time he carries his red replay challenge flag on the sidelines.
McCarthy uses the same flag every game, and he’ll carry it again on Sunday when his Packers play at Seattle for the right to advance to the Super Bowl.
WTMJ Radio in Milwaukee asked McCarthy about it Friday morning, after seeing a USA Today photo of the flag.
He confirmed that it has a message from his daughter. It reads in part, “With you through every challenge. XOXO Goose.”
