OCONTO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A snowmobile crash Sunday night in Oconto County killed an Appleton man.
Authorities say they got a report of a missing snowmobiler around 9:15 p.m. Around 11 p.m., officials found the 34-year-old man’s body.
His snowmobile struck the shoreline of Chute Pond.
Investigators think speed was a factor in the crash. They are also waiting for results of toxicology tests.
The man’s name has not been released.
