MENASHA, WI (WTAQ) – An apartment complex fire on Friday night forced 20 people out into the cold in Menasha.
Fire crews were called around 5:30 p.m. to the Elizabeth Court Apartments.
Officials say the blaze was inside one of the apartments. Three other units were damaged by smoke and water.
Firefighters believe the fire was not suspicious, and residents should be able to return to their apartments by the end of the weekend.
About 14 of the affected residents were able to spend the night at a Red Cross shelter at Jefferson Elementary School.
