GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Green Bay company is proposing a $26 million redevelopment in the city’s Broadway district.
Barsan Corporation has released plans to build a mixed-use residential and retail building in the 500 block of N. Broadway. Under the plan, existing buildings would be demolished to make way for a six-story, 84-unit apartment building. The building would also have 14,800 square feet of retail space and possible underground parking.
Barsan has bought most of the properties in the block, but is asking the city to help it acquire a duplex and a city-owned parcel. Barsan presented plans to a city committee in February.
Construction could begin in summer 2024 and be completed in spring 2026.
Barsan is also proposing a 12-story condominium building for Ashwaubenon.
