GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Two people who police describe as an ‘estranged couple’ were found dead this morning on Green Bay’s west side.
Green Bay Police say they received a 911 call just after 8:00 am in the 800 block of 3rd Street and found two people dead inside the home. Police describe the two as an “estranged couple” who were not living together at the residence.
“Every time a tragedy like this occurs, it impacts our entire community. For people experiencing domestic violence, there are resources available to help. No one should have to live in fear for their safety,” said Police Chief Chris Davis.
Two other un-injured residents of this home were also located and escorted from the home by officers and later reunited with family.
Police say there’s no reason to believe the public is in any danger, and add that the investigation is ongoing.
