APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – An announcement was made Monday by the Octoberfest committee that they have awarded a $15,000 grant to the city of Appleton.
The money from the grant is to fund a public safety drone.
The committee hopes the drone will provide an additional safety measure to the city.
Over the past 37 years, the Octoberfest committee has given more than $2.5 million dollars to the Appleton community to fund various projects and functions.
