MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – A $500 cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in a recent string of bicycle thefts is being offered by the Manitowoc Police Department.
The police have received several reports of stolen bicycles on the city’s north side and are encouraging residents to report any suspicious activity they witness.
Some individuals had their bikes stolen from their open garage or property and had a less desirable bike left in its place.
To avoid theft residents are also encouraged to keep their personal belongings and vehicles locked.
