GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Green Bay’s west side on March 25 will stand trial.
An arraignment has not been scheduled for 29-year-old Barry Watters, who will return to court on September 17 for a status conference.
A preliminary hearing took place on Tuesday where he was ordered to trial.
He currently is facing seven charges, which include hit and run causing death and homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
The victim was 47-year-old Russell Owen of Green Bay who was riding his bicycle.
Following the crash, police found marijuana and prescription medication inside Watters SUV.
