GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Police responded to a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a car Sunday evening.
Officers say the crash occurred at Main and Abrams streets around 8:30 p.m.
Two passengers were on the motorcycle, one has died and one is in serious condition.
The person who died has been identified as 18 year old Taylor Loock.
Green Bay Police Captain Kevin Warych says the next step for law enforcement will not be a quick process.
“The accident reconstruction will take weeks to put this crash back together, to understand where the vehicles were located, the positions, the speeds, and the cause of the crash,” he explains.
This process of accident reconstruction is an important step if the accident results in a prosecution.
“We have to make sure that no stone is uncovered here and make sure we get this crash scene right, so we can provide the best results,” says Warych.
The road was closed for most of the night but was opened to traffic early this morning.
