WINNEBAGO/WAUPACA COUNTIES (WTAQ-WLUK) – After taking off on an illegal plane ride and nearly hitting a squad car, Andrei Biesinger has been charged for his part in an incident earlier this month.
On September 1 Biesinger flew a plane from Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.
It happened while he was being chased by police and sheriff’s officials for domestic abuse charges.
While the airport tower and officers tried to stop Biesinger, he took off in the plane anyway, crashing a short time later in the Town of Waupaca.
Biesinger is facing several charges, including felony recklessly endangering safety, disorderly conduct and knowingly violating a restraining order, according to online court documents.
