APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Appleton Firefighters responded to an overnight fire this morning at around 3 AM that forced four adults and six children from their homes.
A neighbor initially reported the blaze in a three-unit townhouse on the 2900 block of North Drew Street.
The fire was spreading to nearby buildings when crews arrived and firefighters were able to contain damage to other structures.
All ten residents had safely evacuated prior and were accounted for once firefighters arrived.
No damage estimate is available and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Those displaced by the blaze are currently being assisted by The Red Cross.
