APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Appleton high school students are gaining real-world construction experience while helping a family in need.
The students kicked off a year-long project, raising the walls of a Habitat for Humanity home Thursday morning.

Students will work for two hours a day each day.
Skills that the students will learn included carpentry, plumbing, electrical and flooring.
The family who will live in the home is also helping.
