It’s been a good start for new Wisconsin Timber Rattlers manager Joe Ayrault. The Rattlers beat Beloit 6-3 to spoil the home opener for the Sky Carp and improve to 3-1 on the Midwest League season. Wisconsin got a pair of two run homers from Ernesto Martinez Jr. and Darrien Miller. Four pitchers combined to strike out 16 Beloit batters in the win. The two teams meet again in Beloit Wednesday night.
