FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – A new student-housing facility has opened up on property adjacent to the UW-Fond du Lac campus.
A Wednesday ribbon-cutting was held for the privately-managed Vue Campus student apartments.
UW Colleges and Extension Chancellor Cathy Sandeen says “this represents a whole new world. Now we can have students who live here and study here and it creates the opportunity for us to spread our wings and welcome students from far away.”
The two and four-bedroom fully furnished apartment style suites are open to any college students in Fond du Lac.
The facility offers on-site resident assistants, a 24-hour fitness center, and study rooms.
Students will start moving in at the end of the month.
