WASHINGTON D.C. (WTAQ) – Wisconsin’s senior Senator wants federal authorities to look into reports of tainted or substandard alcohol at Mexican resorts.
Senator Ron Johnson is calling for a State Department probe after recent reports said vacationing Americans had gotten sick after drinking the alcohol, including a 20-year-old Wisconsin woman whose body was pulled from a resort pool in January.
The State Department has issued a warning about the alcohol to tourists.
