DOOR COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Authorities have recovered the body of the kayaker who went missing in Door County last weekend.
Officials say Joseph Quagliano’s body was found about 100 yards from Horseshoe Island off of Peninsula State Park around 9:20 am Wednesday.
The search for the 20-year-old Salem man began Saturday night when he didn’t return from his kayaking trip.
Investigators say Quagliano was not wearing a life jacket.
