BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Two 18-year-old Green Bay men have been charged in connection with an August 12 shooting on Browning Road.
Anthony Landron and Martin Hernandez-Leon both face multiple charges, including Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide, Armed Robbery, and Resisting an Officer.
Hernandez-Leon allegedly contacted the victim on social media about purchasing marijuana.
He then drove to Landron’s house, reportedly telling Landron they were going to go rob someone.
Once they got to their destination, investigators say the victim got into the passenger seat.
From the back seat, Landron allegedly pointed a gun at the victims’ head, demanding the drugs.
When the victim tried to get out of the vehicle, he reportedly heard a ‘pop’ and realized he had been shot.
Investigators say the victim told them he ran into his house, flushed the drugs down the toilet, and woke up his grandmother, who took him to the hospital.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Landron reportedly admitted to the crime.
