OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Oshkosh Police Department says a plane crashed at Pioneer Airport, in Oshkosh, Sunday evening.
When cops arrived on scene, the fixed wing single engine aircraft was upside down.
They say two people inside the plane, a 56-year-old man from Minnesota and a 60-year-old man from Tennessee, managed to get out of it safely.
One of the men asked to be taken to the hospital. Police say the other man “did not require medical attention.”
Oshkosh police say they contacted the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board to assist in the investigation and find out what caused the plane crash.
