ALLOUEZ, WI (WTAQ) – Following an inmate-on-staff assault the Green Bay Correctional Institution is on lockdown.
Officials are investigating the incident that happened on Friday morning and resulted in an employee being injured.
The condition of the employee is unknown and they are receiving medical attention.
The prison will remain on lockdown as the State Department of Corrections investigates.
