OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Two Appleton teens are in custody following a fatal shooting in Grand Chute.
Jail records show that 19-year-old Trevor Teela is in custody on possible charges of First Degree Intentional Homicide and Manufacturing/Delivering THC.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old Elian Coronado is being held on potential charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Manufacturing/Delivering THC.
No formal charges had been filed at last word, but both suspects are expected to make court appearances on Tuesday.
Officers were called Sunday to the 600 block of Olson Avenue in Grand Chute.
Investigators say they found a person dead in a home’s driveway, upon arrival.
Officer Travis Waas says one of the suspects was not too difficult to find.
“Investigators learned that the male victim and two other men were involved in an argument that had turned physical. One suspect, and I’m not sure which suspect it was, did come back to the scene, park his vehicle, and walk towards the officers. Once the officers noticed him, he was taken into custody.”
The victim’s name has not been released, pending family notification.
